How to resolve browser errors or extended loading times when using ProConnect Tax

While working with ProConnect Tax, you might occasionally experience:

  • unexpected behavior
  • red error messages
  • extended loading times
  • static spinning circles
  • unable to select buttons, such as the E-file button or the Send Intuit Link invite button

If switching browsers does not work, try the steps below for your browser of choice to see if it helps solve for your issue.

Google Chrome

  • Select the three-dot icon at the top-right of the browser menu.
  • Scroll to More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  • Choose a time range from the dropdown menu— to delete everything, select All time.
    • We recommend you choose All time to remove all cookies and cache, but you could try a smaller time frame first to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Select the boxes Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  • Select the Clear data button.

Firefox

  1. Select the menu icon at the top-right of the browser (three horizontal stacked lines), and scroll down to choose Settings.
  2. Select Privacy & Security from the left menu panel.
  3. Scroll to Cookies and Site Data and select Clear Data.
