Manual entry form errors in Lacerte

Starting in Lacerte 2020, Screen 100, Manual Entry Forms in available in the Individual, Partnership, Corporate, S-Corporate, and Fiduciary modules. This screen is different than your typical input screen. It includes and displays fillable PDF forms that allow you to complete specific forms that aren't supported by Lacerte. Errors you may come across:

This error message means there is a special character in the filing.

The most common reason for an error in manual forms is a hyphen was used when entering the EIN, for example 75-1111111 will cause an error. Please enter the EIN as a continuous numeric sequence, for example 751111111.

Avoid the usage of any other special characters such as shift characters marked above the numbers on your keyboard.
