If Line 2 on Page 1 of OH Generic Form R is not picking up the loss from Page 2 of the form, go to Screen 54.123, in the St. Taxes section, select Ohio Cities. In the City section below, select the state you are working on, highlight the city, go to the Income section and check the "Allow business losses to offset non-business income" checkbox which should then allow the loss to appear.

The Ohio IT 1040 has a Senior Citizen Credit that is available if all the following conditions are met:
• Your Ohio income tax base (Ohio IT 1040, Line 5) is less than $100,000.
• You were 65 or older during the tax year.
• You haven't taken the Ohio lump sum distribution credit before.
If you meet all these criteria, you'll get a credit of $50 per return.

Go to Screen 20.2, S Corporation Information. Select the S Corporate from the left navigation panel. Go to the Part II - Information About the Shareholders section. Hold down Ctrl+E in City name (Ctrl+E) code 432 under the City Information [OH] subsection. Select the City Name from the dropdown menu. Enter the City Taxes Paid.

Go to Screen 54.123> Select the applicable RITA city in the City list in the left-hand navigation pane.> Scroll down to the section RITA Application For Refund.> Mandatory entries for RITA are Amount of income not taxable [O] (code 236) and Amount of over withholding claimed [O] (code 238).
