Generating Alabama Form PPT in Lacerte

Where is the input to generate Alabama Form PPT?

To generate the Form PPT in an S-Corporation return:

1. Go to Screen 49, Other Forms, under State and Local.
2. On the left panel, select Alabama Business Privilege Tax Return and Annual Report (Screen 49.402).
3. Click on Exclusion/Deduction in the Unamortized Goodwill box in the left-hand column.
4. Enter 2 in the field 1=suppress annual report, 2=print annual report with return, 3=print only annual in the Form PPT / BPT-IN section.

To generate the Form PPT in a Partnership return:

1. Go to Screen 43, Other Forms, under State and Local.
2. On the left panel, select Alabama Business Privilege Tax Return and Annual (Screen 43.403).
3. Enter 2 in the field 1=suppress annual report, 2=print annual report with return, 3=print only annual report [O].

To generate the Form PPT in an Individual return:

1. Go to Screen 54.401, Alabama Taxes.
2. Click the 1 under the Entity box in the left hand column.
3. Check the box Print Form PPT with return (MANDATORY).
