Follow these steps to transfer the files:

  1. From the File menu, select Transfer and choose Transfer Clients.

    • If ProSeries is installed as a standalone, the data path will be C:\ProWin23\23Data.
    • In a network installation, the ProSeries data path will usually be X:\ProSeries\ProNet23\23Data.
  6. For Step 4 - Select clients, click the Select All button.
    • This will highlight all of the tax files (in the screen to the right) that will be transferred.
    • If you prefer not to transfer all of the tax clients at this time, hold the Ctrl key instead and manually select each client that you want to transfer.
