Common questions about purchasing eSignatures

Purchasing eSignature for Lacerte 2024, ProSeries 2024 and ProConnect Tax 2024: 

Choose the 2024 Tax option to purchase envelopes for your 2024 tax product.

Bundle eSignature

• Envelopes purchased via a Bundle will be available to use in the 2024 tax program and will expire on December 31st, 2027.
• 2024 Tax Year Bundle purchases can be used in prior years until November 2025 when the 2025 Tax program is released.
• After the release of the 2025 Tax program in November 2025, envelopes can only be used in the 2024 Tax program.
• Envelopes purchased via a bundle will not roll over into the 2025 tax program when it is released in November 2025.

Unlimited

• Envelopes purchased via the Unlimited option will be available in the 2024 tax program starting January 1st, 2025.
• Unlimited Esignatures purchased in the 2024 product can be used in 2024 and prior years until December 31, 2025. 
• When the 2025 tax product is released in November 2025, the 2024 Unlimited Esignatures can also be used with that product until December 31, 2025.
• Envelopes purchased via Unlimited will not roll over into the 2025 tax program and have an expiration date of December 31, 2025.

Pay As You Go - Lacerte Only:

• Pay As You Go will be valid from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 and can be used in the 2024 tax program and prior year tax programs.

2023 Tax Year eSignature Credits

• Envelopes purchased as part of a Bundle in the 2023 Tax product will expire on December 31, 2026 and can be used in the 2023 tax program. You can also use these in prior years until November 1, 2024.
• Envelopes purchased via a bundle will not roll over into the 2024 tax program when it is released in November 2024.
• Envelopes purchased via Unlimited will not roll over into the 2024 tax program and have an expiration date of December 2024.
• Lacerte only: 2023 Tax Year - Pay As You Go ended on December 31, 2024.

Calendar Year 2023: All eSignature credits purchased from the 2022 Tax Program using the Calendar Year 2023 purchase option (which is no longer available) expired on December 31, 2023. This purchase option is no longer available.
