Setting up users, passwords, and user access in EasyACCT
by Intuit• Updated 1 year ago
How to set up System-level and Company-level users and passwords, assign supervisory rights, or restrict user access to specific functions and modules.
Before you start:
You must have supervisory rights to set up new users and passwords, or assign access, including for new supervisors.
- System-level access prompts the user for a User ID and Password when starting the program.
- Company-level access prompts the user for a User ID and Password when entering a Company.
- Company-level passwords can be used without setting up System-level passwords (they work independently of each other).
- If the user has both a Company-level and a matching System-level password, they will only be prompted for their User ID and Password when starting the program.
