Frequently asked questions about using the evaluation copy:

• The evaluation copy will allow you to test using the software.
• Returns prepared in the Lacerte evaluation copy will not be fileable with the IRS and will be printed with a watermark.
• City and State returns cannot be printed.
• Returns cannot be electronically filed from the evaluation copy.

Notes:

• Manage Users will not be part of the Eval.

Eval Dialog box will display when:

• Attempting to E-file.
• Receiving acks.
• Updating selected returns.

Other Notes:

• You can't change or turn the watermark off. The check box will default to Checked and be disabled.
• SSN masking will work the same way it does now.
• Whenever an Eval dialog is displayed, that event will be tracked.
• An event isn't tracked only when there is no Internet connection.
