Entering a maximum deduction for IRA contributions in Form 1040

Here's how you can calculate the maximum deduction for IRA contributions in Lacerte:
- Go to Screen 24, Adjustments to Income.
- Under the Traditional IRA section, enter 1 in the field IRA Contributions (1=maximum deduction) (codes TP = 1, SP = 51) to calculate the maximum deduction.
