Deleting a PDF attachment from an e-file return in ProConnect Tax

This article explains how to delete a PDF attachment from a return to be transmitted via e-file.

For an individual return

1. Go to the Input Return tab.
2. On the left-side menu, select General, then select Electronic Filing.
3. Click on the e-file PDF/Miscellaneous screen.
4. Select the e-file Attachment hyperlink at the top right.
5. In the tab for the file you want to delete, click on the "X".
6. In the pop-up window, select OK.

For a business return

1. Go to the Input Return tab.
2. On the left-side menu, select General.
3. Click on the Electronic Filing screen.
4. Select the e-file Attachment hyperlink at the top right of the screen.
5. In the tab for the file you want to delete, click on the "X".
6. In the pop-up window, select OK.
