Adding text to the top of the 1040 in Lacerte

To add text to the top of the 1040 in tax year 2025 and newer:

1. Go to Screen 3, Miscellaneous Information.
2. Scroll through the Miscellaneous section.
3. Enter the applicable information in Other Special Condition

To add text to the top of the 1040 in tax year 2024 and prior:

1. Go to Screen 3, Miscellaneous Information.
2. Scroll through the Miscellaneous section.
3. Enter the applicable information in, Form 1040 text.
