Below, you'll find a list of e-file statuses and what they mean.
| Status | Description |
| Received by Intuit | The filing has been received by Intuit's e-file servers and will be forwarded to the taxing agency. The filing has already been postmarked with a submission date and time, and can't be retrieved or canceled. |
| Received by agency | The taxing agency has received the filing but hasn't accepted or rejected it yet. |
| Accepted | The filing has been accepted by the taxing agency. |
| Rejected | The filing was rejected. You may need to correct errors and resubmit, or if the rejection persists, paper file. |
Less common statuses:
- Conditional Accept is a Form 114 status that indicates you need to correct errors and e-file an amended Form 114.
- Failed transmission indicates that a filing wasn't received by Intuit.
