The program is generating the following informational diagnostic:
- The program makes certain assumptions regarding the qualifications for the earned income credit. Review Form 8867 and verify that those assumptions are correct before filing this return. The penalty for failing to meet the due diligence requirements for the earned income credit is $510. (ref. #18348)

The program assumes that you're meeting your due diligence requirements for the EIC. The due diligence requirements are found on Part V of Form 8867. You should review these requirements to make sure you're meeting them.
The penalty for failing to meet the due diligence requirements for the EIC is $510.
For tax years 2016 and prior, the due diligence requirements are found on Part IV of Form 8867.
