How to resolve Lacerte diagnostics after deleting dependents

After deleting the only dependent on Screen 2, Dependents in Lacerte, the following diagnostics appear:
- e-file: Dependent #X: First name missing or invalid. (ref. 340)
- e-file: Dependent #X: Social security number missing. (ref. 342)
- e-file: Dependent #X: Date of birth missing. (ref. 345)
- e-file: Dependent #X: Relationship missing. (ref. 348)
- e-file: Dependent #X: Relationship is invalid. The following are valid relationships - Son, Daughter, Foster Child, Grandchild, Grandparent, Parent, Brother, Sister, Aunt, Uncle, Nephew, Niece, Stepchild, Half Brother, Half Sister, Stepbrother, Stepsister, None or Other. (ref. 349)
How to resolve diagnostics related to previously deleted dependents
These diagnostics generate when a previously deleted dependent's information wasn't completely deleted from Screen 2, Dependent Information.
Follow the steps below to clear these diagnostics.
First, turn off Input Warnings:
- From the Settings menu, select Options.
- Select the Setup tab.
- Under the Program Options section in the Show Input Warnings in the Detail Tab dropdown menu, select No.
- Select OK.
Delete the desired dependent:
- Go to Screen 2, Dependents.
- Under the Dependent panel, select the desired dependent.
- Select Delete, then OK.
- Select the Clients tab and reopen the client file.
- Select the Diagnostics tab to make sure the diagnostic(s) no longer appear.
Turn Input Warnings back on (After clearing diagnostics):
- From the Settings menu, select Options.
- Select the Setup tab.
- Under the Program Options section in the Show Input Warnings in the Detail Tab dropdown menu, select Yes.
- Select OK.
