How to resolve Lacerte diagnostic ref. 4589

This article will help you resolve the following error in Lacerte:
- Form 1310: You must possess valid proof of death to e-file returns with Form 1310. (ref. #4589)
To resolve this diagnostic
- Go to Screen 63, Refund Due Deceased Taxpayer (1310).
- Scroll down to the Electronic Filing (1310) Section.
- Place a checkmark in Taxpayer possesses valid proof of death.
