The following diagnostic is generating: 

For {MACorpName} , no entry was made in the checkbox "Filing a Massachusetts unitary return" (Screen 45.191, Code 46). This box must be checked in order for the program to make proper calculations for the combined return.

Solution:

This diagnostic appears when you're preparing a Massachusetts combined/unitary return, but the required checkbox to indicate that you're filing a unitary return has not been marked.

1. Go to State & Local>Screen 45 Miscellaneous>Massachusetts Miscellaneous Information.

2. Locate the field: “Filing a Massachusetts unitary return”.

3. Check the box to indicate Yes.
