To be fair, it isn't clear to a new community member what should be done with this Diagnostic feature.  Many don't know that comments and solutions can be added to their post.

Form 8283 now requires a separate form for each Partnership. Instead of using the K-1 input screen, non-cash charitable contributions entered from the Partnership should be removed and entered in the "New Non-Cash Contributions". However, any non-cash contributions subject to a basis limitation calculation should be entered in the K-1 input screen in order to correctly calculate the basis limitations.

The word NEW caused a flummox in my brain area and cognition was temporarily discombobulated. Hey, what is new! did I miss something?  There is no input screen labeled NEW so where is it? Why am I wearing a cape and holding a doll?  

So I called tech support. 

Form 26 is the input form to use.

Normal brain functioning resumed.

P.S. I mentioned to tech support that "NEW Non-cash..." should be removed and Form 26 should replace it.  Let's see if they do that.
