for Ca form 3840, schedule A is required when electronically filing. If this like-kind exchange has been entered in disposition screen, it will need to be moved to the depreciation screen or return will need to be filed as a conventional paper return.

3 years ago, someone on this forum said to input the 3840 Information on Screen 57.  I don't know if that is the solution in 2023. 

I get this diagnostic even though I have input the LKE in the depreciation screen.  

The diagnostic disappears once Schedule A Part 1 and Schedule A, Part 2 and Line C are completed.  

note: Parcel Number and County for Properties Received are not required.
