As someone who has quite a few clients who use a property management company to manage rental properties, I think its annoying that ProSeries only lets me assign the 1099-Misc to one property when the management company issues a 1099 for all properties they manage on behalf of the property owner.   So if they manage 6-8 properties I have to get creative on entering that 1099.   Why not have it so if I check the Schedule E box, I can appropriate it as I see fit so long as it equals the total 1099? Or does that make too much sense?

What doesn't make sense is entering a 1099-MISC into ProSeries since it doesn't go anywhere.  Just enter rents as needed into each property and ignore the 1099 entry into the program.
