Since email addresses are part of the information we collect from clients, it would be a great feature for us to be able to send an email blast to all without having to type each one out to each client.  Or, is it a feature that exists that I am unaware of presently?

There is software that does that, and your email system probably already allows you to "cc" or "bcc" messages to some or all of your clients.  (The question has been asked here before, and there are probably better answers if you search.)  I'm here to buy tax software.  If 99% of us have to pay for a feature that only 1% will use, then many might shop elsewhere.

As a former IT guy, this makes sense in the ideological facet. It would in fact be a great idea, if it would work as intended.

However, have you or your clients ever received a Mailer Demon? When organizations mass/blast emails it is often picked up as spam. Whole ranges of IP addresses become blocked and one must contact the appropriate parties to have your IP delisted.

In theory there could be the quite simple solution of implementing a batch email/contact system. I would love to have our front desk admin to be able to perform tasks of this nature when/if necessary/needed. One could piecemeal (or limit placed) out a certain number of emails per day, so as to not end up classified as a spammer.

But this would make sense and could be used quite efficiently and effectively.........so it simply will never be implemented.
