I have a client that qualifies for repayment protection for the Advanced Child Tax Credit. However, the program is not picking that up. Any suggestions on how to get it to recognize this or will it be coming in an update?

How are you sure they qualify?
The more I know the more I don’t know.

They meet all the requirements for Repayment Protection as listed on the IRS website and on the 6419. The problem is the program is putting in 1 child on the 8812 instead of the 3 as reported on the 6419. The directions for the 8812 say to make sure the amount of children reported on the 6419 is the number that is being put on the 8812 not the number of children that are on the return.

Try this cool trick.
Right Click on the 1 that you don't like and select "Jump to Input" it should take you right to the spot that you should have put the 3 when you entered the amount on the 6419.
