Client received 1099R code G, with taxable amount same as distribution. Do I request corrected 1099 before tax return can be complete?
So was it actually a rollover and Box 2b is wrong?
Or was it actually a distribution and the Code G is wrong?
Did the client bring in the paperwork showing the transaction?
