lacerte says the following:

  • In order for an e-filed return to be considered timely filed, it must be filed by 11:59PM in your respective time-zone on the defined deadline day.

I am in New York

What time is lacerte stopping to accept returns for timely filing on the 15th?

They won’t stop accepting returns until the IRS shuts down sometime in November

Thank you for your answer.  I probably confused when IRS shuts down , lacerte has an earlier cutoff that day. Here we have literally to 11:59 wherever we are. Thank you for clarifying.
