THE IRS SITE, CHECK MY REFUND, KEEPS SAYING THAT THE INFO DOES NOT MATCH ANY THING IN THERE DATABASE. IT SUGGESTED TO RE-EFILE THE RETURN, CAN YOU ACTUALLLY DO THIS ONCE IT IS ALREADY EFILED? AND HOW IS THIS DONE?

Suggest you have your client open an account at irs.gov, and be sure year in question never filed. If never filed you will have to paper file as you have already e-filed in your software. You should update e-filed status first in your software, and see if a form 9325 was generated, so you can prove it was e-filed on time
