Taxpayer, 50 y.o, was a 33.33% beneficiary of an 80 y.o. decedent's IRA. New York excludes up to $20K of retirement distributions and in this case, the taxpayer was one of 3 beneficiaries and therefore is eligible to exclude 33.33% of $20K. I can get Lacerte to apply the 20K exclusion by checking these boxes on screen 13.1, but how do I get it to apply the 33.33% allocation?

Not familiar with Lacerte but in Proseries this is done in NY State on the Pension/Annuity Ira worksheet for the corresponding 1099-r from the federal return,.
There are question for the Decedents Date of birth, and percentage of distribution.
