When filing Form 5695 (Residential Energy Credit) does the invoice or receipt need to be attached to the tax return and sent to the IRS?
If so, how can it be attached in ProConnect for an efile return?
It does not need to be attached.
Just keep it on hand for the IRS audit 😉
