HELLO EASYACCT.
I RECEIVED THE CONFIRM OF THE CASE 15152290235 "UNABLE TO ACCESS COMPANY FILE" and the result was because our firm was not use the current version (current update) which cause this issue. or because we had different employee used the different computers with different version and cause this happen. Well Easyacct, "I DONT ACCEPT YOUR ANSWER"
Do you have any documents or agreement for me to sign or to prove that after i update my Easyacct to current version and this issue will never happen again.
We all know this is the tax season, one of my co worker lost the whole year of 2025 client's data. and she has to enter again for the whole year.
Payroll 1st quarter report is coming. we all know that Easyacct has to be updated to the very current version to be able to work on it.
Easyacct, please check, test,..... before you put online any update.

HAVE SAME PROBLEM SINCE JANUARY!! BEFORE WE RESTORE OR BACKUP WE MAKE SURE ALL COMPUTERS ARE ON THE MOST RECENT UPDATE AND WE GET THE MESSAGE UNABLE TO ACCESS COMPANY FILES. I WAS TOLD IT WAS AN ISSUE ON OUR COMPUTERS, THEN SEEN OTHERS WERE POSTING THE SAME ISSUE. TECH SUPPORT IS NO HELP AT ALL! SOMETHING IN THIS VERSION DOES NOT LIKE THE BACKUP OR RESTORE FUNCTION..

Sad to know all year's data has to be reentered. Mostly, before you open any company in a new version, a backup will be auto saved. You just need to restore that backup in previous version or a good version, then no data will be lost. Hope this gives an idea in case something like that happens again.
