I am formally requesting escalation of a critical system defect in EasyACCT following the most recent program update. After installing the update released 3-3-2026 #2025-2.15, the program crashes when attempting to print payroll registers during payroll processing. This issue is reproducible across multiple client files and is not isolated to a single data file.

This is a production-stopping error that directly impacts payroll compliance and reporting deadlines. At this time, we have:

  • Reinstalled and repaired the program

  • Confirmed the issue occurs in multiple files

  • Confirmed it began immediately after the latest update

We have not been provided with:

  • An engineering case number

  • An expected resolution timeline

  • A workaround that preserves system integrity

Our firm has used EasyACCT for over 35 years. This year’s release has introduced repeated system instability, including crashes and functional failures. The lack of resolution timeline is unacceptable given the compliance exposure.

Please escalate this matter to Tier 3/Engineering immediately and provide:

  1. Engineering case number

  2. Confirmation this is a known defect

  3. Estimated resolution date

  4. Official workaround documentation

We cannot operate payroll in an unstable environment.

How do you backup to the prior version 14?
