I am unable to transmit 1099's! Diagnostics say the company name isn't correct, or company address isn't correct, or recipient name or address isn't correct. It's crazy. I was able to file only 1 (one) client before program gives these diagnostic errors for every other client's 1099's. The information was put in the same way. I'm not feeling good about EasyAcct. Waste of money. It looks like I'll ultimately have to go directly to IRS to file them, and what a waste and crunch on time to have to reenter data. Not happy with EasyAcct!

I got diagnostic errors when there was punctuation involved. No "." on abbreviations like Ave. or Apt. is one example.
Also, Company Information needs phone number, contact name, email address.

In the Information System, I found that I had to remove the extra 4 digits from the zip code on the Company address and make sure there were no punctuation marks, such as periods or commas. The # sign is also a problem in both the Company address and the recipients addresses. You can use Ste or Apt or Unit or PMB. Don't put a period after St. Also it is requiring the email address and, of course, the phone number of the Company. We had a couple of long-time clients where these were not entered. After all of these fixes, I have been able to create an electronic file for all the clients so far and upload them onto the IRS Fire System. I haven't finished setting up the IRIS yet to upload through it.

Hi! thanks for posting in the Community about 1099s. If what @Ope and @DenaH shared does not help, we would take a look @Jamie Love 's post to see if it might. If you still need further assistance, we would reach out to EasyACCT Support for assistance.

Apparently you cannot have any special characters, commas or periods in any addresses or company names anywhere. So no # & ' . Instead of '&' I just spelled it out 'and'. I also had to take out the # on any addresses with an APT# and had to remove the period behind anyone middle initial that might be there. You also must include an email contact in each client's company info.
