For months now, if another user accesses the same company I am using, their system locks-up (not responding) even though that user may not be utilizing the same module. I have noted that if I am using WriteUp and she loads the AP module it freezes. I am guessing that's because we may both be making use of the same data file?

Yes, no two users can be in the same company file at the same time. You are using one company file data path for one company. Our office just makes sure no one else is working on the client when we need in.
