I have a client with a dependent son who lived with them in the U.S. all year.  I can get boxes 5a and 5b to show a check mark.  They also have a dependent parent who lived in the U.S. all year.  I can get box 5a to show a check mark.  I cannot get box 5b to show a check mark for the dependent parent. 

I have called Lacerte 3 times for assistance.  No one can seem to help me on this.  Any ideas?
