We have some return clients from 2023 and we deleted their info from our 2024 Lacerte. Can I proforma them directly to 2025?
I don't think you can play leap frog with the software. I believe you would have to proforma to 2024 and then to 2025.
That's what I have done.
The replies above are correct. ProForma must be done from year to year, and does not allow for skipping a tax year as it is programmed to look specifically in the prior year folder for the clients to bring over.
