I downloaded 2025 Lacerte to do some projections. It appears to to still be taking the 40% per TCJA instead of the new 100% per OBBBA.

I think Lacerte is better with updates than ProSeries, but ProSeries will continue to be essentially the 2024 software until the December 17th update. I hope Intuit will update Lacerte quicker for you than they update ProSeries.

I have called Lacerte three (3) times regarding this same issue and I was told that Lacerte would not include the update until the IRS Forms were official. I pushed back stating this was not logical based on Lacerte's prior update history when there were tax law changes. I was told to wait patiently until the January 7, 2026 update release.
I'm not holding my breath at this point....and expect to be calling Lacerte customer support for the 4th time on Wednesday.

Hi @Daffey The 2024 program has been updated, however we are still waiting on the update to 2025. We will update the Community once this becomes available.
