Are you sure you are looking for a credit instead of an additional deduction?

You are correct. I am looking for a deduction and it is not showing up in the tax summary that you can see in the 2025 tax software.

The software is still in its growing stages.  You can't really rely on it to be reliable until sometime in January.

Senior Tax Deduction is included on new form (Form Schedule 1-A). $6,000 for taxpayer and $6,000 for spouse for those who qualify.

As of today, the Senior deduction DOES NOT show up on the tax summary in the 2025 software.
