Your more cost effective choice would be the online equivalent (sort of) of Lacerte. All cloud based. Check out https://accountants.intuit.com/tax-software/tax-online/ Click on the ORANGE Try it Free to give it whirl. You can do everything, except pay if you do the input and use Check Return to see the results. You must pay if you want to e-file or print. Does your firm have an EFIN? That is required to do the e-file.

Thank you for your reply. We'd like to make some comparison between Lacerte and ProConnect, so it would be highly appreciated if you could answer my 2nd and 3rd qestions.

I think the cheapest Lacerte option is the $499 "on sale now" FastPath license - per Preparer- and then pay $140 per return.
See Pay per return toward the bottom of this link Lacerte Pricing and Tax Planning Packages | Intuit Accountants
The more I know the more I don’t know.

ProConnect is $105 per user. If you buy the returns now $76.97 per return. https://accountants.intuit.com/tax-software/tax-online/pricing/
You can do the drop downs to confirm the 1120-F currently scheduled for release on 2/6/2026
Give them a call to confirm what you need. KEY is DO YOU HAVE AN EFIN?

Thanks, I want to make sure that we can file 1120-F returns on Lacerte, right? Cause it isn't displayed on the pricing interface.
