Agree - their article saying it's fixed doesn't address that the 1040-ES address is still wrong. I get that the mail will be forwarded, but wouldn't it be nice to send payments to the right address in the first place? Seems like an easy fix Lacerte!

I came here with the same question. It's pretty sad when a client points out to you that your tax software is printing out the incorrect dates to mail their estimated payments. Why is this so hard to fix? It makes our clients not trust the information that we are giving to them. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED STAT.

Hi @Mandy MIA Nice to see you in the community and thanks for posting. Could you share the article that mentions — it's fixed doesn't address that the 1040-ES address is still wrong? Our development team is still reviewing the 1040-ES update, and we haven’t received confirmation on if or when the address will be corrected. We recognize the community’s frustration here — and understand that having the correct address from the start would be the best solution. We want to make sure the correct information is out there and we'll continue to monitor this closely. We’ll update this thread and others if we have more information to share.

@George4Tacks That link tells how to update the client letter. I don't use the generic Intuit version, I do a much better one using word processing on my own letterhead. But for ProSeries there are no instructions on how to update the 1040-V, so it seems that we are the neglected stepchildren. The Lacerte post, meanwhile, tells us:
- Updating Client Letters in Lacertet Tax: I MISSED THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE NAME CHANGE. IS LACERTET A PETITE VERSION OF LACERTE? MAYBE A COMPOSITE FOR LACERTE TOILET? For guidance on updating client letters with the new addresses, please refer to this support article: Common questions about editing client letters in Lacerte
- Update address on the 1040-V per client: THIS IS THE PART MISSING FROM THE PROSERIES LINK YOU MENTION
- Go to Forms tab>1040-V
- Right-click the IRS address and select Jump to Input
- Select correct IRS Center from the IRS Center (Ctrl+T) [O] dropdown.
