Friends:
Client has $20,037 in ordinary dividends, about $13,000 in qualified dividends, and $23 in capital gain distributions. Her foreign-source dividends are $3,007.
The line 1a statement on her form 1116 shows the qualified dividends and capital gain distributions exactly as entered.
But dividends are listed as -10,139. I can't figure out where that number is coming from or why it is a negative number. Can anyone help?

I just duplicated that input and no problems.
Go to that line of input and use Ctrl + W to see the detail. See if it matches this and the 1116 I got
Maybe you have input in one of your other dividend entries that is messing it up. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS THE SOFTWARE. It is PEBKAC
