If Company A performs a service for a nonprofit, and then a third-party individual pays the bill from Company A (with the check being written to Company A, not the nonprofit), can this still be a deducted contribution under the premise of being "to or for the use of" a charitable organization? Alternatively, would this answer change if the nonprofit acknowledges the transaction as a donation with a receipt?
