Has anyone tried to e-file a superseded 1040 for 2022 in Lacerte? I know its new functionaliy for this year, but I haven't been able to find step-by-step instructions on how to actually file the return. Currently I've created a separate file and used the 1040X marking the superseded box, but 1) it doesn't allow direct deposit of the additional refund amount and 2) it is supposed to replace the original return not "amend", so I want to be sure I'm doing it correctly. Any thoughts?
