Hello, I have a 990 that had a change in accounting method that filed a 9/30/21 return in 2021 lacerte as their change in accounting method. Originally we filed via paper, the IRS kicked that back saying we must efile, so we did. Now I have the 9/30/22 return which I need to file in 2021 Lacerte but cannot due it it having the same EIN as another return that has been filed. I cant file paper.

Any suggestions? I know ProConnect allows you to file multi returns with the same EIN in the same module.

I guess I could find another Firm locally and transition the file for them to transmit on our behalf but we would need to get an authorization form.
