My client was in business from 1/1/22 through 9/30/33 and I need to file a final return before 12/15/22.
Will this go on a 2021 or 2022 year tax form ?
If 2021 what is easiest way to roll over the 2021 info to be my beginning info ?

It's a 2022 return, assuming you mean the final, short year is 1/1/22-9/30/22.
The more I know the more I don’t know.

You need to manually do the roll over, if you are going to do it on the 2021 software. 2022 software will not be ready to go until ??? when IRS reopens and the software has the bugs ironed out. You could use 2021 software to prepare an extension.
