Lacerte Technical Support has been dumbfounded by this issue. We are trying to file an individual tax return with multiple pdfs. Each pdf is <1.4MB. All pdfs together is 14.1MB. Lacerte keeps flagging that the 'Submission Size is Greater than 20 MB'.
All of the pdfs have been reduced until they can't be reduced any further. None were scanned in greyscale. All were scanned at lowest readable quality.
All the pdfs are required for submission.
All the pdfs have 1 digit file names. (e.g. 1, 2, 3, etc.)
Anyone have a solution? Anyone know where I can look up the Submission Size on a return in Lacerte?

Maybe the 1 digit file name is tripping something. I'm known for brevity 😉 but I usually use a few more digits/letters for file names.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
