Received IRS acceptance but no indication on California. How do I check California status?

Per the numerous threads on the forum... CA acknowledgements are taking 36 - 48 hours right now. So be patient.
To specifically answer your question - you check the same way as you check for any/all acceptances. I click on the little Efile down arrow on menu bar.
