We host Lacerte on our own virtual server, and have a really hard time managing Lacerte updates.
Once an update is released no one can log in until we’re able to install the update. This requires everyone to log out first, which is hard to coordinate when everyone is working virtually.
Is there any way to automatically download & install updates so we don’t have to deal with this manually?
If not, I'm curious how other firms are managing this effectively.
