Using the Fixed Asset Import tool, and everything is imported except for my Fixed Assets' lives.

In the import, I choose "Life" as the column for mapping.

My columns are as follows: Date Placed In Service, Cost or Basis, Description, Category, Depreciation Method, Tax Method, Life, Prior Bonus Depreciation Allowance, Prior Depreciation

Any tips on getting "Life" values to come in with everything else?

Which items can be imported?

The following items can be imported:

  • Description of the asset
  • Category
  • Date placed in service
  • Cost or basis
  • Current section 179
  • Tax method (MACRS/ACRS)
  • Life or class life
  • Depreciation method
  • Prior section 179
  • Prior special depreciation allowance
  • Prior depreciation / amortization
  • Prior depreciation (AMT)
  • Prior depreciation (Book)
  • Prior depreciation (ACE) (only in the business modules)
  • Current special depreciation allowance

Maybe you need to look for "Life or Class Life"
