The diagnostic tells you how to get rid of the staff preparer if you don't have one and it does not work!
Just got this also. You have to add one then delete it. Geeeeze who thinks this sh--t up. This needs to be fixed back to the way it was. A time waster.
Your correct, procedure in diagnostic does not work. Crap!
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We've let the correct team know about this.
It does appear to be only a Warning. Check the box to acknowledge and go on with your life. It should not affect any efile.
It seems to be part of the "improved" diagnostics released today.
Even clicking the box to cross out the critical warning will not allow e-filing.
Use the drop down for Staff Preparer and select <empty>
