We use Direct input for depreciation and our clients are in IL. Recently IL 4562 was released and it is not working correctly. Lacerte assumes that anything entered as current depreciation on new purchases should show up on line 8 on IL-4562. There is no 100% bonus elected on this return and even if it was, it may not be on all returns. Please fix immediately as all of our IL returns are efiled incorrectly as of yesterday.

Use Ctrl +L to open an e-mail to Lacerte to make them aware of the problem. You can even attach a copy of an impacted return to help the explanation. That will go straight to the programmers to either get corrected or to point out what you did wrong.
I am unsure as to what you mean by Direct input.

Thanks, I am finally on call with Lacerte, but curious how many affected. Screen 23 in Lacerte Depreciation Direct input (4562).
