So a couple of our users are having an issue with Lacerte from time to time. Lacerte will basically not be able to locate/access a mapped network drive even though the drive is available through file explorer. Seems to happen after a Lacerte update. Has anyone else had similar issues? The only thing that seems to work is re-installing lacerte and re-mapping the drives.

I gave up trying to use a networked drive after two years of problems. One of the firms I do per diem work for has an actual server that seems to work without issues. I'm thinking about spending the $$ to set one up in my office as I'm going to have to hire help this year.

Have you tried using the Network path, or even the UNC, instead?
