MFS. If they want to file joint, they are eleting to treat spouse as a US citizen and spouse needs an ITIN.

You really never answered the question. Want to e-file MFS and the non-resident alien has no ITIN or SSN. The IRS said we can e-file that way but your software doesn't let us!
