Do you need to do an override if you made a payment in 2020 to get the proper NJ amount on Page 1 ??  It seems that if I do the override, it knocks my Federal return out of balance.

There should not be a need for adjustment. Line 1 of PTE-100 is looking for the federal number from all sources.

What if you're filing an extension for an S-corp but made a payment in 2020.

Where can I report that payment was made and so no money is due with the extension?

Do I have to override?
